What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or other internet-connected device. It’s used to identify your browser, provide analytics, and remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. They're completely safe and can't be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device.

What type of cookies does Qntrl use?

Cookies can be classified based on which domain sets the cookie and how long it will remain on your device.

Session cookies: Session cookies are temporary and only active while your browser session is open. These cookies will be removed when you close your browser.

Persistent cookies: Persistent cookies have expiration dates, and each cookie may have different lifespans. They will stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

First-party cookies: These are cookies placed on your device directly by the website you're visiting.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for navigating the website and using its features. We use these cookies to run the Qntrl website and to identify and prevent security risks. For example, we may use these cookies to store your session information to prevent others from changing your password without your username and password. If you remove or disable these cookies, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the Qntrl website.

Here is a detailed list of the cookies used on our website. We regularly update this list using our cookie scanning tool to ensure its accuracy. The cookies are classified into the following categories.

What is a third party cookie?

A third-party cookie is not set by the website that you are visiting (e.g., cookies set by youtube.com on qntrl.com). Some of Zoho's own technologies and applications may be hosted in a domain that is a third party to the domain that you may be visiting; for example, zoho.com cookies set on your browser when you visit Qntrl website. However, as part of our commitment to protect our users’ privacy with the utmost care, Zoho does not allow third-party tracking companies to set cookies or other trackers on the Qntrl website. When we embed content that is hosted on a third party's platform on the Qntrl website, the third party may set cookies on your browser. These cookies are usually for the purposes of providing the service as intended (such as bandwidth management, storing your preference of language, tracking consent, and collecting anonymous statistics, such as the number of times a video has been streamed).

Wherever possible, we choose the most privacy-friendly options, such as Privacy Mode or Anonymous Statistics Only, to ensure we guarantee your privacy. However, some of the properties of such embeds may not be fully under our control, such as our ability to control cookies that are set by these third parties unilaterally when the webpage is embedded with such content loads.

Here is the list of the cookies set by such third-party company embeds on Qntrl website.
