Request submitted by executive board

The executive board submits a request to set the year's budget to the finance department.

Requesting budget

Once the board requests the budget, Finance notifies all the other departments to submit their budget forecast for that particular year.

Budget review by finance department

Once all the departments submit their respective budgets, the finance department reviews them. If feasible, the budget is approved. If not, the concerned departments are asked to modify the budget.

Scheduling meeting

Once the budget is approved internally by the finance department, top management reviews it. If there are any delays, a meeting is scheduled with the divisional managers and the budget is modified again.

Finalizing the budget

Once top management approves the budget, it's consolidated, finalized, and documented. Later, the request is closed.
